Novavax Caught Lying about Not Testing its COVID-19 Vaccine on Aborted Fetal Tissues [Article From 18/8/22]

Novavax has publicly proclaimed: “No human fetal-derived cell lines or tissue, including HEK293 cells, are used in the development, manufacture or production of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine candidate, NVX-CoV2373.”

The HEK293 fetal line mentioned by Novavax is derived from an elective abortion in the 1970s is routinely used to produce proteins and cultivate viruses. HEK is an acronym for human embryonic kidney cells.

HEK293 is not the only human fetal cell line. It is rather suspicious that Novavax would specifically cite that particular cell line and claim that it was not used in the “development, manufacture or production” of its COVID-19 vaccine when it turns out that Novavax, indeed, used that very cell line when “testing” the efficacy of its vaccine. Is not testing part of the development of the vaccine? Absolutely!

It seems that Novavax has been caught in a subtle deception. It is more properly described as a bald-faced lie. Novavax funded research that studied the efficacy and safety of their COVID-19 vaccine. That study expressly states that it involved the use of “human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293F cells.”

When presented with that damning evidence, Novavax claimed that it “did not use HEK293 cells in the testing of NVX-CoV2373.” Novavax, apparently, understood that testing was part of the development of its COVID-19 vaccine and decided to deny that it used the aborted fetal cell line of HEK293 in its testing.

But that statement from Novavax denying that it used aborted fetal cells in testing its COVID-19 vaccine was later impeached by a letter sent by Novavax to the Charlotte Lozier Institute, wherein Novavax officially admitted:

“Testing was conducted to compare the structural integrity of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein produced in the Sf9 insect cells versus the spike protein produced in the mammalian human embryonic kidney HEK 293F cells. The comparison determined the Sf9 cell technology produced spike proteins were comparable in structural integrity as the spike proteins produced in the HEK 293F cell.”

It seems that Novavax is pathological in its deception. In the same letter sent by Novavax to the Charlotte Lozier Institute where it admitted that its vaccine was tested on aborted fetal tissue, Novavax stated that “fetal-derived cell lines were not used in the manufacture, testing, or production of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine.”

“Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”
